Occupational Therapist

Tamika Henderson earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Howard University and is a dedicated occupational therapist with experience across hospital settings, home health, and outpatient orthopedic care. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of working with both adult and pediatric populations, helping patients regain function, confidence, and independence.

Tamika believes that no two patients are alike. Her philosophy is that every case tells a different story, and effective therapy often requires thinking like a detective—carefully piecing together symptoms, medical history, and functional challenges to uncover the root of the problem. She is passionate about creating individualized treatment plans that empower patients to achieve meaningful, lasting outcomes.

Outside of the clinic, Tamika is a proud dog mom to one very spoiled pup. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with family, reading or listening to a great audiobook, cooking, and exploring new restaurants. She values building genuine relationships with her patients and strives to make every therapy session both encouraging and goal-oriented.
