Kelsey Robrecht, PTA

Staff Physical Therapist

Kelsey “Kels” Robrecht is a physical therapist assistant who was born and raised here in St. Mary’s County, MD. Her interest in physical therapy began at a young age as she was a competitive gymnast for 15 years and has been through the rehabilitation process herself multiple times. Kelsey enjoys being in a career that gives her the opportunity to get others back to their normal lives and be able to do the things they enjoy/love.

Education

Kelsey graduated with her bachelor’s degree of science from Salisbury University in 2023. While in undergrad Kelsey worked as a PT tech throughout her senior year, then became a PT tech for CAO in the fall of 2024 before going back to school to become a licensed PTA. Kelsey then went on and graduated from the Chesapeake Area Consortium for Higher Education (CACHE) Physical Therapist Assistant Program and became a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in 2026.

Experience

Kelsey had the opportunity to experience clinical rotations in the outpatient, inpatient, neuro, and pediatrics setting. Kelsey has had the opportunity to treat multiple diagnoses such as Post-ops, knees, hips, ankles, shoulders, and spine. Along with the opportunity to treat CVAs, Parkinsons, and dabbled in a bit of cancer rehabilitation in her last clinical rotation.

Philosophy

When it comes to treating patients, Kelsey likes to take a whole-person approach, emphasizing education, encouragement, and realistic goal-setting to help patients make lasting improvements in their health.

Personal

In her free time, Kelsey enjoys being out on the water and spending lots of time with her family. Kelsey is always looking for a new adventure to take on her free time.
